Bodyweight Conditioning

Bodyweight conditioning is by far the best way to get your heart pumping and your lungs huffing.

After a workout with these you will have so much more stamina than ever before!

Sprints

Sprints are a great conditioner.

They will build power through your body.

You don't have to have a lot of room just 40-400 yards.

You will be moving on your hands and feet. To move forward you move your right hand with your right foot, then left hand with left foot.

When you do this exercise you do it as fast as possible.

Bear crawls are great bodyweight conditioning exercise.

Do this after a very intense workout and you will be huffing and puffing!

Crab Walk

This is the opposite from a bear crawl. You will start sitting then lift up your butt while on your hands and feet.

You can move faster going backwards. Do this exercise as fast as possible.

Works the whole body also.

Ball Slam

Start with the medicine ball behind your head, then slam the ball into the ground as it your throwing the ball through it. Pick up the ball and repeat, do as fast as possible.

This exercise also works the core.

The Woodchopper is kind of like ball slams but instead you jump up as high as you can and slam the ball into the ground, repeat as fast as possible.

Mountain Climber

With your hands stationary, start with one leg tucked into your chest and the other extended back. Now kick them back and forth like your trying to take off... but don't

Sledge Hammer Swings

Get an 8-10 sledge hammer or heavier and a old tire you don't use. Then start swinging away at it like you’re a mad man!

Do this as fast as possible!

Make sure to switch your lead hand every 10 reps.

Try doing 100 swings, 50 each arm, after a workout, makes a great finisher.

Jumping Jacks

Jumping jacks are a great exercise for an active rest with your bodyweight conditioning drills, use this exercise between very intense ones and you will get a better workout.

Or you can use this exercise for a little morning workout it gets your heart pumping and it’s easy to do.

Treadmills

You can get a great conditioning workout using a treadmill if you don't want to go out running.

You can do intervals, like sprinting 400's or just changing the time so that you have to run faster each week. Doing intervals by sprinting 400’s is great when you do a circuit of bodyweight exercise.

Even when it's raining you will be able to run when others can't because they don't have a treadmill, so that means you will be ahead of those in training.

Stationary Bike

Feel like biking but don't want to leave home to do so, then getting a stationary bike is a great way to do this.

You will be able to go as long as you want without leaving your home of even putting anything on besides your boxers, if that's what you want to do.

You will be able to get a great workout in with this piece of equipment.

Punching the Bag

Punching a boxing bag is not only a great conditioning exercise, but a great workout for you arms, abs, chest, back, shoulders, and builds lung power.

Not only will be you able to hit harder, if that's what you’re after, but you will be burning fat and sweating so much if you combine this with other bodyweight exercises and conditioning drills.

Punching a speed bag is also great and it will help build up your punching speed or just the speed with your hands and arms.

Swimming

Swimming is not only a great way to workout but fun too, you work every muscle in your body when you go swimming, so you will be burning fat and building muscle while having tons of fun with your friends and family.

Oh, make sure you put some sun lotion on, you wouldn't want that six pack to get burnt.

Canoeing/Cyaking

If you never been canoning or cyaking go out and try it right now!

It is a great way to exercise and you will have so much fun you won't notice that you will be sore the next day.

Go get some friends and go!
